In a joint statement released after the summit, President Suk Yeol Yoon and President Joe Biden expressed intent to form the largest educational exchange initiative in the history of the Fulbright Scholarship Program. This initiative will focus on supporting educational exchange for scholars researching emerging technologies and other topics within science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.
