Grantee Activities

Fulbright Forums are public research lectures that highlight the work of Fulbright grantees while offering the broader community a glimpse at current issues in Korean Studies and Korea-U.S. relations. Held every one to two months, Forums also serve as periodic gatherings for the Fulbright family at large, including past and present grantees and friends of the Korean-American Educational Commission (KAEC). Hailing back to the 1970s, Fulbright Forums began during the tenure of Dr. Edward R. Wright as Executive Director of KAEC and officially bear his name, as the Edward R. Wright Memorial Fulbright Forum Lecture Series, in honor of his memory.

Since the publication of its first volume in 2008, Fulbright Korea Infusion has showcased the literary, artistic, and academic talents of Fulbright grantees to Korea. Infusion aims to capture the diversity of the Fulbright Korea experience by publishing work from Fulbright Korea Senior Scholars, Student Researchers, Graduate Students, English Teaching Assistants, and program alumni. It supports artists in the creation of work which honestly engages with their grant year and their craft.

During the 2011–2012 Fulbright grant year, Infusion inaugurated its website, making both print content and exclusive online material accessible to readers worldwide. Infusion is published by the Korean-American Educational Commission, or Fulbright Commission. However, the Fulbright Commission is not responsible for the opinions expressed in Infusion by individual contributors, nor do these opinions in any way reflect official Fulbright Commission policy. The contents of the Infusion publication may not be reproduced in whole or in part without permission from the contributor and from the Korea Fulbright Commission.
