(ENG) Recruiting High School Students and Adults for the 2022 NKD Tutoring Program

The Korean-American Educational Commission is recruiting North Korean Defector (NKD) students for the Fall Semester of the 2022 Fulbright NKD Tutoring Program. The NKD Tutoring Program connects students with Native English speaking tutors to help further assist with learning and acquiring the English language. The program is free and applications are open from Tuesday, July 26th, 2022 to Friday, August 12th, 2022.

Students must be high school students or adults. And they should be able to attend 1-hour tutoring sessions for the entire 12-week program (12 hours total).

The duration of the program will be from Monday, September 5th, 2022, to Friday, November 25th, 2022 (for 12 weeks). The program will take place entirely over Zoom. All students are required to attend an online orientation and placement exam on Wednesday, August 24th, 2022, at 5pm.
