박사과정: Interdepartmental Program, Ecology, Evolution, and Environmental Biology (EEEB), Miami University

Miami University in Oxford, Ohio is now offering a multidsciplinary, interdepartmental program of study and research leading to a Ph.D. degree in Ecology, Evolution, and Environmental Biology (EEEB). Students earn a degree in EEEB but closely interact with one or more departments. The EEB program emphasizes basic and applied research and training with a major focus on the application of ecological and evolutionary principles to environmental issues. All students are supported with teaching assistantships, research assistantships, or fellowships.

The application deadline for this new program for Fall 2010 is January 15, 2010. Acceptance into the program is determined by evaluation of transcripts, three letters of recommendation, the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores, and a letter outlining educational and professional goals, research interests, and potential faculty advisors. In addition, proof of English proficiency (TOEFL or IELTS) is also required of international students whose first language is not English or who have not earned their first university degree from an English-language institution.
