캠프 활동 (Camp Theme)
한미교육위원단의 Camp Fulbright 는 해마다 다르게 운영됩니다 . 매해 더 나은 프로그램을 발전시켜 학생들이 더 많이 배우고, 더 재미있고 보람된 캠프를 경험할 수 있도록 노력합니다. 이러한 노력의 하나로 해마다 다른 캠프 주제를 적용하여 영어 수업이나 활동을 주제에 따라 계획하며 캠프 교사, ETA, 주니어 카운슬러의 도움을 받아 타 캠프가 따라할 수 없는 특별한 프로그램을 운영합니다.
No year is the same at Camp Fulbright . Every year the program gets better and better, and for the campers that means a more learning, more fun, and a more rewarding experience. Every year, we also choose a fun theme for our entire program. This theme guides our English class and activity planning, and together with our qualified staff, ETAs, and Junior Counselors, this makes for a program that is always unique and always unmatched by any other camp program.
'배우는 것이 재미’라는 말을 항상 듣습니다. Camp Fulbright에서는 학생들이 자신의 세계를 탐구하고 새로운 생각에 마음을 열어 새로운 것들을 배우는 것이 모험이라고 믿습니다. 올해 Camp Fulbright의 주제는 영어 외 학습과목을 캠프에서 영어로 접하는 것입니다.
You always hear the phrase, “learning is fun,” but at Camp Fulbright, we really believe that exploring your world, opening your mind to new ideas, and learning new things can be an adventure. This year, our theme focuses on bringing other school subjects to the campers at our English camp.
Camp Fulbright 2010에서는, 매일 이들 과목들과 연관된 학습을 신나는 활동을 통해 영어로 배우게 될 것입니다. 캠프에서 학생들과 Junior Counselor, 캠프 직원들 모두가 수학, 과학, 역사, 미술뿐 아니라 체육, 음악과 연관된 활동을 즐기게 될 것입니다.
At Camp Fulbright 2010, each days activities and lessons will be based on a subject and we will show the campers how each subject can be done in English and even get a little wild and crazy at the same time! Campers, JCs and the rest of the Camp Fulbright team will enjoy activities involving math, science, history, art, and even a day of sports and music!

Morning Motivation
두 시간의 아침 수업 후에 쉬는 시간으로, 말하기와 쓰기 활동 뿐 아니라 단체 시합, 미니 스포츠, 퀴즈 등 게임이나 시합을 하면서 영어를 사용하는 시간입니다.
Morning Activities offer the students a short break from the classes and the chance to use English in fun games and challenges. Morning activities include team challenges, mini-sports and quiz games, as well as a variety of speaking and writing activities.
Club
학생들은 클럽 하나를 선택하게 됩니다. 스포츠, 영어작문, 음악, 댄스, 연설, 영화만들기 등 다양한 클럽을 마련하여 모든 학생들이 참가할 수 있습니다. 클럽에 대한 자세한 사항은 여기를 참조하십시오.
Campers will choose one of our exciting club activities. Every year, we have a wide variety of clubs so that there's something for everyone! In the past we have had clubs that featured sports, writing, music and dance, speeches, movie-making, and more! See the club list for more information about clubs.
ETA (원어민영어보조교사) Classes
Camp Fulbright 에서는 풀브라이트의 ETA 로부터 수업을 받는 특별한 기회를 제공합니다. 각 수업반은 매일 2-3명의 다른 ETA 수업을 받게 됩니다. 이는 학생 중심의 재미있는 수업으로 학생들은 여러 선생님의 다양한 영어 말하기를 경험할 수 있게 됩니다. 이로써 학생들의 듣기 능력이 향상될 것이며 현실에서 사용되는 영어를 이해하게 될 것입니다.
Each year at camp Fulbright campers get the unique opportunity to meet our ETAs. Each class will have a visit from two to three ETAs during afternoon class sessions and students will enjoy the ETAs fun, student-centered lessons. Campers will have the chance to experience different speaking styles, which will help the campers improve their ability to listen to and understand real English.
Group Activity
Camp Fulbright에서는 단순히 영어를 가르치는 것이 아닙니다. 가르치는 것 뿐 아니라 경험을 통하여 학습하도록 격려합니다. 본 캠프에서는 학생들이 저녁 그룹 활동과 일상 활동을 통하여 팀웍과 리더쉽과 같은 중요한 생활 기술을 터득하게 될 것입니다. 학생들은 매일 팀동료와 만나 게임을 하고 도전을 즐기게 될 것입니다 .
오늘날 교육과정에서 소외시 되고 있는 대인 관계 유지 기술을 , 다른 팀과의 경쟁 또는 팀원의 단합을 통하여 배우게 될 것입니다.
At Camp Fulbright , we don't just teach English. We do not just teach. We encourage campers to learn through experience. At Camp Fulbright , campers will learn important life skills like teamwork and leadership through daily activities like evening group activity. Each day campers will meet their fellow team members and enjoy games and fun challenges.
Whether working against other groups or teaming up with fellow campers, campers will learn interpersonal skills that are so often overlooked in today's curriculum.
Night Fun
하루일과를 마쳤다고 학습과 재미가 끝나는 것이 아닙니다 . “Night Fun'은 저녁 활동입니다. 본 캠프 교사진에서는 공예 활동(Arts and Crafts), 수사 미스테리(Murder Mysteries), 스포츠, 현대 또는 전통춤 등 다양한 활동을 준비하고 있습니다. 이에 더해 미니 영어 도서실과 까페 등 다양한 공간도 마련하고 있습니다.
The fun and the learning don't end when the sun goes down. “Night Fun” is our evening activity time. Our camp staff has a variety of activities available including arts and crafts, murder mysteries, sports, even modern and traditional dance! Camp Fulbright even has its own mini English library and cafe, and more!

ETA 와 함께 하는 주말 활동 - ETA 가 학생들, 캠프 교사 및 주니어 카운슬러와 함께 스포츠 , 체험학습, 콘테스트 등 여러 활동을 주관합니다.
Weekend activities with the ETAs - Campers, staff, and Junior Counselors will team up with the ETAs for an awesome weekend of sports, hands-on workshops, contests, and activities.
Fulbright Idol 탤런트 쇼 - Fulbright Idol 은 탤런트 쇼로 학생들이 가장 좋아하는 행사입니다. 학생들이 팀을 이루어 캠프 직원, 주니어 카운슬러와 함께 준비한 노래와 댄스, 스킷, 패션쇼 등 간단한 퍼포먼스를 자랑하는 시간입니다. 학생들은 모든 상상력을 동원하여 아주 재미있는 퍼포먼스를 보여줍니다.
Fulbright Idol Talent Show - One of our most popular events, Fulbright Idol is a talent show during which teams prepare short performances for the entire camp. Together with the staff and Junior Counselors, the campers prepare and enjoy musical numbers, skits, fashion shows, and other great performances. The performances at Fulbright Idol are limited only by our imagination.
발표회 - 학생들이 캠프에서 배운 것을 진열하고 다른 캠프 친구들과 가족에게 보여주는 시간입니다 . 캠프 직원도 발표회를 위하여 따로 발표할 것을 준비합니다 . 학생들은 발표회에서 얻은 행복한 추억을 가지고 집에 돌아가게 될 것입니다 .
Final Presentation - The Final Presentation is a chance for campers to show everyone at camp and their friends and family what they learned at Camp Fulbright . Each class will have a display and performance, and the Camp Fulbright staff will also prepare presentations. Together, the Final Presentation will give the campers happy memories of camp to take home with them.
