 Put Your Hands to Work! (Craft Club)

Are you tired of only using your hands to take notes during class and text your friends after school? This club will teach you to do so much more! With those hands of yours, you can make cool bracelets and necklaces, write beautiful calligraphy lettering, and fold origami paper into almost any shape you can think of! Put your mind to the test and learn how to play (and win at) chess! Learn about what this game is, how the pieces move, what the opening is, and why you want to stay in the center. You will get to form your own strategies and apply them as you claw your way up the chess ladder and try to earn points for prizes! You will also get to learn and play Korean chess, bug house, simultaneous games, and several other variations of this famous game that over 700 million people in the world play. If that were not enough, to finish it off we will hold a tournament where you can make your mark on history and finally have something to brag about to your friends. Come join us at F4 Drama Club and you'll learn how to speak REAL English - slang, jokes, games, and all sorts of things - from English drama! Do you enjoy looking at art? Would you like to express your artistic creativity? Have you heard of Pablo Picasso, Leonardo da Vinci, or Diego Rivera? Or have you seen the Mona Lisa, or other famous works of art? We'll study primarily Fine Art and some of our activities include creating Cubist paintings and making a mural together as a class. In this club you will learn about these people, paintings and you will sculpt, mold, paint, and draw your own pieces of artwork.

In our club, students will learn the basics about how animation works, be introduced to a few famous clay animation films, and work on designing their own characters and script for a short clay animation film!
